Lisa Hendrickson

Lisa Hendrickson sold her first idea for a company to her father when she was five years old for twenty-five cents. Today she is a serial entrepreneur who has lived an immersive life around start-up ventures. Her newest company, Spark City, was founded to provide essential start-up training and back office solutions to entrepreneurs with a focus on effectiveness and profitability.

Prior, she was the COO of HCC, a values-driven interiors company founded in 2003. HCC was a pioneer of the triple bottom line strategy now a standard in sustainability. Under her leadership, the company grew to become a luxury market leader garnering numerous awards including an ICIC 100 award for growth and innovation in 2009. At Scient, the iconic San Francisco dotcom consultancy that innovated online banking, she served as a Director of Strategy.

  • Corporate grant recipient from The Clinton Foundation;
  • CEO Forum Training at Harvard Business School with Michael Porter;

She is the creator of many entrepreneurial programs including the FutureLAB series, Audacity, Morning Salon, and The Sustainable Organization. She is an Adjunct Professor of Business at FIT teaching Entrepreneurship and Sustainability where she is also the program designer for “Finance for Design.” She has appeared on BBC World Business Report, The New York Times, CBS’s The Early Show, ABC’s World News Tonight, Crain’s NY, and many other fine news outlets.

Tim Vatuone

Tim is a technology industry veteran of over 31 years. He started his career in Silicon Valley in the late 70’s at Hewlett Packard Corporation and did his first start-up in 1981 at Convergent Technologies, a company that grew from $9 million to $325 million in 3 years. He has raised well over $180 million of different forms of equity and debt and knows well the challenges facing growth companies. Tim has a wealth of knowledge in operational finance and has a firm background in costing systems and manufacturing environments. Tim holds a BS degree in economics and an MBA degree from the University of Santa Clara; Santa Clara, California.

Ryan Downie

Ryan Downie is a published equity research analyst who began his career as at a small hedge fund with a focus on health care equities. He has worked as a sell-side analyst at Sidoti & Co researching the microcap technology sector. Ryan produces historical models with comprehensive financial forecasts and other company-specific metrics. Ryan has substantial experience creating business and financial plans for start-ups in food service, financial services, technology, design, and retail industries. Ryan holds FINRA Series 7 and 86 certifications and graduated with a BA in Economics from Notre Dame.

Mike Stadniychuk

Mike is a research and analysis professional with knowledge of building and managing databases. Mike’s diversified experience from different industries and even different countries gives him solid ground base for business analysis. He is a team player who is ready to take a lead when it’s needed.

Charlie Harper

Charlie Harper is a management professional with extensive experience in leadership, process improvement, project management, sales and business development with a Fortune 150 company.

Charlie’s sound financial judgement coupled with his ability to achieve strong results through focus on excellence and associate development as well as his proven strengths in building successful teams, problem solving and data analysis makes him a valuable member of the Spark City team.

Joyce Morrison

Having honed her skills in business administration for over 16 years serving in a variety of administrative roles, Joyce Morrison joined the Spark City team in August 2014 as the company’s Administrative Assistant.

Joyce’s professional manner, dependability and keen attention to detail coupled with her warm and engaging personality has endeared her to our clients and keeps the wheels of the business turning smoothly.

Her role involves a little bit of everything: scheduling, calendar management, email management, client management, email marketing, providing assitance to the team and in general helping to keep Lisa’s busy professional life on track.
