I loved seeing this article in the New York Times on Tuesday. It’s all about how baby boomer business owners are cashing out and selling their businesses to the next generation–and these buyers look a lot different than the boomer generation. Older white male business owners are selling their businesses at a surprising rate to minorities and women who are jumping into entrepreneurship by buying existing businesses. Although we’ve been talking about these trends in Audacity, we’re able to see the evidence of the trends coming to bear now.
